Internet speed Independent schools

Just wonder what all do about connection to the Internet in Independent schools. Looked at some options to increase our connection at present we are on an upto 20mb down 4 mb up (we get 9mb down and 900kb up) been offered 2 lines like this bonded together to double speed.

Just wondering other options at reasonable price.

 

Looked at £13000 for leased line but to be honest its too much. So do any off you have better option (we have no cable nearby i checked)

20Mb here, ADSL from FluidData. They can bond varying number of lines together (I think one of the others in the foundation have four bonded, because they needed the upload).

That the service i have now its just the bonding bit costs

• Aggregation server + routers - £1,230

• On site Engineer Visit - £490

• BURST Activation - £0

 

Just trying to justify It to the Bursar

I'm looking at that for an option to increase the upload.

 

Also - how does the bonding work wrt contention?
