DSLR Repair costs?

I have a Canon EOS 100D which got no use over lockdown (I use it for nature pics) and when I came to fire it up this year it refused to turn on. The battery seemed fine, but just to be sure I ordered a new one, but no joy.

I have tried all of the tips I can find online (EOS cameras have a habit of locking up like this I have found when looking into this) and none have worked. My only option now is to either scrap it and grab one from eBay or send it for repair.

Before I do this though, I just want to reach out to the big brains on EduGeek who may have had to have a DSLR repaired as to an idea of potential costs.

Any advice would be greatly received.

I've not had to get a DSLR repaired myself, but I know people who have have used Fixation:

Sadly, it's not an option for this.
