ClassroomBookings - View only mode?

I've got classroombookings installed as self hosted and LDAP is working

 

We only want some staff to be able to book resources - Does anyone know how I can either set a view only for logins or publish the calendar week page to view?

Unfortunately a read-only view isn't possible at the moment, but it is on the roadmap for future development.

 

However, if you want to completely remove the ability to see and book rooms from certain users, whilst still allowing others, you can do it a couple of ways.

 

1) As you're using LDAP, you could change the filter to only allow users who match the criteria of the users you want to be able to book rooms. Anyone else would not be able to log in.

2) You could add your 'approved' users to one or more Departments, and then use the Room Access Control functionality to restrict specific rooms to just those departments. Make sure you remove the default access for 'Any logged-in user'.

Craig, thankyou for that. I just need a way that staff can see the calendar for resources but not book themselves. We want all bookings to go through me (as the ICT dept)

Ah, I see, understood Booking approval functionality is also on the roadmap, but that one is a bit further away.
