Garacesh Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 'lo everyone! So our marketing dept run a lot, I mean a loooooot of accounts. There's like 50 twitter accounts alone. So our marketing bod uses TweetDeck to manage them all. Now apparently they want to make instagram accounts for tonnes of different subjects/sports/etc and wants to know if there's anything similar for Instagram/Meta stuff. I know you can sync accounts into Facebook Business Centre(? Suit? Something or other) which can be used to schedule Instagram posts, but that's pretty much all I know. Anything out there that anybody can recommend?
DavR Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 We use Buffer to post out to multiple social streams at once, this will do Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. We've not tried it with multiple accounts of the same platform, but, I don't see why that wouldn't work. You can compose a post on one channel, and just click to include others, although I don't know how user friendly that interface would be when you go beyond a certain number of accounts. The free license allows for three accounts, which is enough for us, but looks like your usage would be paid. Another name I've heard is Hootsuite, but I've not used it myself. 1
ZeroHour Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Hootsuite may be better given the number of accounts you have, its not cheap but its not, or wasnt billed per account at least. 1
Garacesh Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 Much appreciated, I've passed those on
Oaktech Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Another plus 1 for Hootsuite if you're doing serious social media!
TechMonkey Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Yeah, Hootsuite is what I have used in the past. Great app and website. But if you use it seriously you pay through the nose. With that number of accounts though it may well work out to be cost effective due to time saved. It does things like show and alert on hashtags or replies or keywords. It is great for heading off social media issues, if they do that.
Garacesh Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 Feedback from the user: they all have limits, which our 50+ twitter accounts alone exceed She's going to stick with TweetDeck and see what Facebook Business Suite offers lol
