Hi All,

I have been documenting our network with MS Office Visio '07 so that we can start adding VLANs during the summer. We have several buildings on site all connected via 1GB and 10GB fibre, then each room connected via copper.

I have documented each major junction over the network but cannot find a 3D setncil for a fibre patch panel (8, 16 & 24 ports). To complete the drawings I have temporarily used a standard UTP patch panel stencil labelled as a fibre one.

I would be very grateful if someone could point me to/or attach a fibre stencil.

Chris.

I used the AMP stencils, there's an 8-port fiber patch panel in there and possibly others  I've got a 12 port panel in a Visio doc if you can't find the right stencil set, let me know if you want it uploaded... Edited by gshaw

Did you have any luck finding a 3D fibre patch Visio stencil? I just documented my network too and had no luck finding a 2D stencil to use for mapping out all of the fibre cores to each fibre patch panel so I made my own! Let me know if a 2D one is any use to you.
