coolhands Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 (edited) In SOLUS if I check my own PC (check status) it does not appear to be online see pic. But I am. How can this be? (we have been having some server issues etc lately) (ALL the computers appear to be 'Offline' ie none are online according to this). How can I rectify? Is it a network pathway problem? (permissions). I know our IT had a ( go down last week and had to move stuff. I don't think it was s erver but maybe it was) Edited October 16, 2023 by coolhands
bknaggs Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 DNS? SOLUS service running on the local PC? They're the two usual problems I've had with SOLUS clients showing offline on the server.
Linfit Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 SOLUS seems to struggle with changes to DNS records, IP addresses etc - if your IT team have had to make any changes to the servers that host DNS or DHCP it may have caused this. The offline status will not prevent SIMS from working but it will stop any updates/patches being pushed out. Best check with them and point out that there may be problems with the next update.
