Looks like PPSK could be coming to Unifi, currently on RC, anyone had a look at it yet? Just seen

I have not had a play, it sounds brilliant as reducing the SSID count on Unifi increases performance but I am curious if this drops performance to make little difference.

All the other manufacturers have had this for some years now, even the new TPLink stuff has had it and I've never heard of any performance issues, in theory as your not broadcasting as many SSID's that side of things should perform better. Until its a live version I wont be having a look, normally stay a few versions behind for bugs etc but its promising news as I know quite a few are looking at moving hardware due to this.

The implementation seems different from other manufacturers, as in you still have one PSK though shared by multiple devices and not an individual PSK per device/user by the looks of it unless I'm mistaken, yes 802.1x is the ultimate and way to go but not all devices we have support 802.1x.

Less SSIDs whatever method is great though and the way I'm heading at home with jus 2 SSIDs one for things that only support 2.4GHz and one for devices that work on both 2.4 and 5GHz
