Cloud helpdesk that will work with staffmail

Is anyone using a cloud helpdesk that will work with staffmail for email to ticket? With LGFL only allowing uso accounts tied to real users we are struggling to find a cloud helpdesk that will work with it.

Just add a distribution list to your staffmail address book and add the external helpdesk email address into the recipients as the only recipient and then ensure all users are in the send to list

Could you not get your helpdesk sending mail over SMTP via the LGfL Mail Relay?

 

As an example, we're using the mail relay to send email out as [email protected] from the scanners on our photocopiers, plus any other device that needs to send email. No USO accounts required, just a little config at the Adept end.

Much like what the others have suggested, you just need to create a shared mailbox on the LGfL/AdEPT Support Site. When we were using StaffMail a few years ago, we had this setup with our Freshdesk. We've since moved to Gmail, but the principle was no different.

As its cloud, sadly not. The relay is internal only, not exposed to the net and only accepts from the 10.x range with a verified domain/email address.

We use https://haloservicedesk.com/ schools log calls using staffmail accounts to it own support@ email address and this then alerts technicians via emails that there is a call. you do need a seperate domain or setup MX rules to redirect email away from staffmail for these email to your school domain but I'm not sure this is what you are asking for. If the users want to login into the halo prtal they do use a different username and password as not linked to USO.
