Power Point, cant use Smart TV pens to write with

Hi, I have a teacher that cant use the Smart TV pens to draw or write on a Power Point, all other apps like Word or Smart Notebook are fine.

 

We open the Power Point ink tab, but the pen tool is not selectable, the arrow icon is always the selected icon, which I believe means click n drag.

 

Any ideas?
