Google Workspace - Stop students emailing their yeargroup in Gmail?

Hi All,

 

We've had an incident where a student hijacked another student's account and emailed the entire year group.

 

Does anyone know if its possible to restrict emailing the Google group to another group's (staff) members only?

We use M365, however there is a good article about restricting senders.https://support.google.com/a/answer/2640542?hl=en Assuming you have a group with all staff.Thanks

If you have your students and staff separated in the OU structure, you can use a Gmail content compliance rule.
