ZakFarnworth Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Hi All, We currently use PDQ Connect to deploy out Windows Updates and from searching around on the internet there is no way to add a package for .net 3.5. We are wanting to use Bulk AD Users as it's an easy interface and has great features for us to use. Does anyone know how to get it working with .NET 4.8 or something similar as 3.5 isn't working? Thanks
3s-gtech Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Can’t you add 3.5 as a feature to the server?
ZakFarnworth Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 Yes we could but if two of us in our office need to use it then it doesn't achieve what we want. Is there not a fersion out there with support for 4.8?
3s-gtech Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 (edited) I derped a bit there, sorry. You can turn on .NET 3.5 for clients with a startup script, I think it’s a DISM job. I did it a while back. You’ll need an install source that’s accessible. Not got the syntax to hand but it is very simple. No newer version that I know of. Edited September 22, 2023 by 3s-gtech
ZakFarnworth Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 Hmm... That could work. I'll look into that Thanks!
