Does anyone know of any HR Cloud system which writes to and from SIMS?

 

They all seem to write to SIMS but don't read from it - rendering the personnel module of SIMS redundant since any changes conducted there won't be reflected in the new online HR system.

 

This is all very well if you wish only to use their system (which of course that's what they want) but there are circumstances where we wish to utilise both.

If the HR system has an API available, you can write (or pay someone else to write) scripts to sync the data. I notice some SaaS systems these days are offering Zapier / IFTTT inetegration as an alternative to someone writing a chunk of code to sync data.

We've found the opposite. Lots of things can pull data from SIMS but (because of the general awfulness of SIMS) getting data back into SIMS is painful (beyond a couple of items such as email addresses).

 

When shopping around for a HR platform, most of them said "if you weren't using SIMS we could do X".
