Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place on the forum but here goes.

I have the idea of a widget that sticks to the desktop, it cannot be closed by the user, and it shows service statuses of the network in a minimised view that doesn’t block out the full desktop and shows statuses of external services. I know Microsoft 365 allows you to integrate there services api to show service status etc so would it be possible to make this in a HTA?

I wondered whether someone has implemented something similar?

Pretty sure you can use BGInfo to do this, or RainMeter if you want something prettier. Not sure about keeping the latter safe from user interference though.

I’ll take a look into this. A HTA might work or a WPF/UWF app maybe?

Just want it to show a service status of external things like Office 365 using the graph api, email status, and any internal messages/bulletins. Need to look into it further
