Azure AD user registered PCs

it would seem that thousands of PCs from my local domain and personal devices are registered in my Azure.

 

Should I turn off "Users may join devices to Azure AD" and will it break anything to delete all the PCs that are in there?

I think you might find that it had inadvertently (but usefully) stored Bitlocker recovery keys against the device record.

 

My understanding is that if you want to apply conditional access policies to data on your M365 tenancy, you need to register devices even if they don't belong to your organisation.

 

But if they're not devices belonging to your organisation, there's probably no great need.
