Hi,

 

Are there user accounts from RM that need to be left enabled? Im having a the following issue and wondering if anyone can assist? and wondering if its an admin account thats been changed

 

PRIMARYTSAFAILEDPROCESSING. User: neveahaindow22. CC4 was unable to update User Properties: [Failed to set the attribute "User.Password" for the user "neveahaindow22". You do not have permission to modify user details.],[Failed to set the attribute "User.UniqueLearnerNumber" for the user "neveahaindow22". Security Exception, Requested 'UserMan.Properties.User.UniqueLearnerNumber.Set.1'],[Failed to set the attribute "User.ProvisioningNumber" for the user "neveahaindow22". Security Exception, Requested 'UserMan.Properties.User.ProvisioningNumber.Set.1'],[Failed to set the attribute "User.YearOfEntry" for the user "neveahaindow22". Security Exception, Requested 'UserMan.Properties.User.YearOfEntry.Set.1'].

Most of RM runs under the "XYZ abcdefghik" accounts - your 3 letter site code then 10 random lowercase letters.

 

One is the "RM Service Host" account, the rest are "RM Share Controller User" accounts.

 

I tried disabling them all for cyber/privileged account reasons - and broke stuff! First/Second Line Support all assure me that they must all be enabled and you can't change the password (without paying for a half day re-install of several components).

 

That said, I would expect those user details you've mentioned to be changed by the username that you've logged into RMMC with?

this may have happened here, so need to work out what accounts are causing the issue but RM support isnr great today
