barrytech Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 We are installing Interactive TVs in every classroom. They all run Android. We'd like to be able to use BellCommander or similar for announcements and have the announcement come through the TV. Does anyone do this currently? Is there an Android App that would work for this scenario? Or am I dreaming?
speakercon Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) Are you using SIP or multicast from BC? If SIP, a SIP softphone app with auto answer enabled should work okay. Would the TV's always be using the android box though, or sometimes the HDMI in? I'm not sure the input would switch if a broadcast came through? Edited June 21, 2023 by speakercon

barrytech Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 Haven't tested it yet, but presumably it'll be possible with 3CX. Wouldn't be reliable for emergencies though... The app could potentially be uninstalled etc
