Daily Annoucement Board

Has anyone ever made a daily announcement board that they run internally - before I start researcning my own using Wordpress?

 

I need an admin screen so teachers can put in their announcements and tag which year groups it's for.

 

Then a screen that lists and sorts/hides according to year group.

 

If not - I'll add it to my list of things to do.

We just use a Powerpoint + Showpoint (our version is when you could just download it https://www.presentationpoint.com/downloads/request-to-download-showpoint/). Doesn't allow for the sophistication you need, though.

We have an all students group as well as an all staff group for this. And post daily updates there and tag the year groups which sends them a notification.

Wordpress has OAuth or LDAP plugins, so pretty easy to log in and assign rights
