mitchell1981 Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 (edited) Hi, It seems that our teachers are not able to share a file from Teams using the Anyone option. It is greyed out, and says: Your organisation is preventing you from selecting this option. However, I've looked at the Sharepoint settings and they all seem to be set to allow sharing with 'Anyone'. I've checked the settings on the Global page, and the individual site page. Both are set to allow sharing with Anyone. Anyone got any ideas where else to look? I can't see any Teams policies blocking it. I don't necessarily want all staff to be able to share to Anyone, but I'd like to at least be able to control it by group. Thanks. mitchell1981 Posted June 6, 2023 Author Posted June 6, 2023 I've just realised that some Teams can share with Anyone and some can't! No idea why or where the setting is.
Cazab Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Is it not the type of Team? When creating a Team you can choose for it to be a 'private' or 'public' team. This is also something that can be changed after the point of creation.
robyholmes Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Is it a Private Channel by any chance? So limited to a subset of users within the team?
