Has anyone got this website blocked, if so why?

Not blocked but close to it. The 6th Form seem to have recently (re)discovered it and keep doing quizzes which generate Smoothwall alerts, depending on the quiz they're doing.

 

Yesterday a student triggered an alert under "Abuse", "Suicide" and "Bullying" and the URL was https://www.sporcle.com/widget/ajax/questions.php?t= which is less than helpful. Impero didn't pick up any key words so difficult to action.

 

I'm inclined to block it purely on the basis that it's annoying...

Blocked "Timewasting", along with "What Disney Princess am I" quizzes, and "Flag quizzes" that don't quite cut it as Geography revision.

 

Yes, I know these are technical solutions to classroom managment issues.

For anybody else like me who is reviewing this website, we have decided to block it. It just doesn't fit right with a secondary school setting, even if it is heavily moderated the sheer amount of adverts is unsettling.
