IT School Technician – School in Camden, London – on-site – to £27,000 (DOE) plus private health

IT Technician. A job title I am sure you have come across before. But what does that mean when working for Colwyn Technologies? (Part of the Flywheel Group)

 

Let me explain. Your new role. Providing great customer service to our schools, so the school trusts us enough to renew their support contract. In this role providing Great Customer Service is more important than the tech!

 

Therefore, we are looking for someone who can talk to a person as well as a computer.

 

You may have been or currently a technician on a school site and can therefore ‘talk school’ and be familiar with the apps that schools use.

 

Your main responsibilities will be client facing with the school stakeholders, conducting quarterly reviews, doing basic fixes, triaging tickets to the Help Desk and making sure that they are handled accordingly.

 

We are not looking for someone that knows everything about servers, networks and switches as we have this expertise elsewhere in our group of companies to draw on when required.

 

In terms of career path, you might want to go into architecture, consultancy, senior support or management which are all available if you have these aspirations.
