Exam room booking system

Hi, folks.

 

I've no idea if such a thing exists, but here goes!

 

I'm looking for an application which will allow the exam management folks in our school to book rooms/desks for pupils sitting exams.

 

In my tiny mind....

 

There's a list of all of the pupils sitting exams

There's a list of the available rooms, and how many desks are available.

 

Staff can go into the calendar.

26/04/23 - create a slot for 09:00 to 11:00 called "Higher Maths"

Add room 7 which has 10 available desks

Drag/drop the relevant pupils into each of the available desks.

 

Something like that, anyway.

 

I'd looked at various room booking systems, but they only seem to book the room - not the people, so you're still jumping between spreadsheet and application.

Is such a thing feasible?

 

Oh - and ideally free. Or cheapish

What MIS do you use?

 

I didn't know it until recently, but SIMS Exams Organiser does this.

 

(Yes, I know, I know... i'm trying!)
