Hello all,

Anyone know of anyone who can (reliably) repair a box of sick ipads for money? Got about half a dozen with mostly screen issues. Not having much luck finding anyone who'll take a box of ipads in, do the deed in a half timely fashion and is happy invoicing us then posting them back.

Let me know if there's anyone you use/can recommend.

Thanks.

Sounds like a job for one of your local small IT repair shops - theres quite a few around here in various towns - 1 man band with a small shop type of place?

You may have trouble finding someone willing to do the job first and then get paid later - most will want payment up front.

We use http://www.macfixer.co.uk they are really good. Prompt service and have transparent pricing on their website

Just email them, they will give a quote, send it off and they will then let you know when they're done and when to expect them back in the post with an invoice attached

Coming back to say Macfixer were really super. Swift turnaroud and price was ace (much cheaper than Timpson.)

I do them in-house and as a side-hustle. Easy to do, but harder to do right. 9th gen is £90 with me and that's including VAT and 12 month no-quibble warranty. I'm also Hertfordshires only certified Apple Independent Repair Partner, having access to genuine parts, tools and diagnostics (if I told you the certified training direct with apple for all models or MacBook, iMac and iPhone totalled in the hundreds...it's taken a considerable amount of time)

Anyhoo, happy to discuss.
