Email security protection

We currently use Vipre email security for our email protection but possible looking at Barracuda’s offering or Defender plan 1 or 2 so does anyone else recommend Barracuda or defender plan 1 or plan 2?

Try ProofPoint. I’d stay away from Mimecast.

We're currently using LibraESVA with our Google Workspace domain. Works OK though you still have to relay all email through them before it reaches Google's mail servers.

 

Would be better if Google could offer a way for third party email security companies to integrate more directly with Google Workspace to streamline the scanning and filtering of email?

Yeah we have a Sophos XG with email protection. We are also a Google school. The XG also requires all mail to pass through it. We only have one device so no HA. We'd need two i guess given the number of firmware updates it receives.
