Chrome Settings Menu Block - URL Block access no longer working

Hello

 

Wondering if anyone could help, we are struggling to block the settings button within chrome for all students. We have previously used the Block access to a list of URL's within Group Policy but this is no longer working (Any of the blocked URL's)

 

Is there another GP that we can enable to disable the settings button?

Are you on the latest templates? The Block option is still there....

We are on 111.0.5563.111 here and it seems to work as normal.

We were on outdated ADMX templates, downloaded the latest ones and we are back in business.

If i had looked closer, i would have seen that the template itself states "Removed Policies"

Wondering whether people use this to block access to your internal infrastructure?

 

IP's of printers, access points, CCTV cameras etc - just to stop the little darlings from trying to brute force in to things they should not be messing with.
