Hi All,

 

Possibly having senior moment here why is my NAS showing 4.7 TB used of 7.TB

 

Its a 2 Bay device with 2 x 8TB drives in Raid 1.

 

My data files only add up to 2.35 TB so why double up as used space?

 

Any idea?

Not sure if it’s still the same but using it as cloud station etc used to require double for versioning purposes

Thanks, I do access it via Quickconnect and I have 2 folders showing in the folder structure both HOME and HOMES\user1 folders within are the same so if I create or delete a folder called TEST in Homes\user1 then it auto creates or deletes the same folder in HOME.

Maybe its this then and one of the trade offs of using it via Quickconnect.
