Senior IT Technician/Manager – Central Worcester – up to £29.5K FTE (.96) - pay award pending

 

This is a great opportunity where you will:

 

Become an integral part of a community specialist primary school providing a nurturing and stable environment so children can learn and grow at their own diverse pace.

 

You will work closely with the business manager and an external IT provider (5 days remote, 1 day onsite), to provide day to day support of IT for @ 250 students and 160 staff.

 

Develop or hone your skills in strategic development, cyber security, policies and procedures etc

 

But most of all be part of a key team and IT service.

 

Knowledge of education a clear advantage but not essential, a welcoming and caring demeanour is, as well as a strong understanding of windows networks, DNS, DHCP, 365 etc

 

Core hours are 8.45-2.45 and there will be some flexibility in start and finish times on certain days to fit around your life. Onsite 100% of the time, but central Worcester and there is parking!

 

LGPS and a salary which is due to rise with a pending pay review (should be over £30K FTE). Contract includes Term Time plus 6 weeks, although candidates wanting 3 or 4 weeks definitely also considered.

 

Naturally candidates will be required to be DBS cleared as part of the recruitment process.
