detjo Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Hi all I have a school where the a TA doesn't have access to a school calendar. I have suggested the calendar just needs to be shared with the TA, but they can't seem to make that happen. I'm not too familiar with o365 and not back at the school until mid next week. I can log into the their o365 admin center but can't see where to view the calendars they have, and how to share them. Could anyone please help by pointing me in the right direction? I have had a look at Org Settings > Calendar, and sharing is enabled but I can't see where I am supposed to be able to view any calendars they already have etc, Sorry to be a bit thick
localzuk Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Only way I know that an admin can share a user's calendar is via PowerShell. Sharing calendars is a user task, so I'd be approaching this as a "why can't you share it yourself" issue rather than doing it for them tbh. http://theitbros.com/add-calendar-permissions-in-office-365-via-powershell/
snagrat Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 You need to know the person or shared mailbox that owns the calendar. Then login to that account (or use the Open Another Mailbox) and then share as the person.
