A reminder that if the Jubilee Line is handy for you, coming from Waterloo for example, the cable car from North Greenwich is a good way to avoid multiple changes onto the DLR.

All exhibitors and visitors to shows at ExCeL can use the cable car for just £3 single fare - to redeem this exclusive discount, all you need to do is show a confirmation email/ticket etc - something that indicates that you are attending an ExCeL event - to the staff at the terminals.

Have a great start to your day by arriving in style with superb views across the City and Docklands.

...and that to get to North Greenwich you can also use the Thames Clippers, the ferries that run up and down the Thames. They aren't generally busy during the tourist off-season, and they're just that bit more civilised than the tube, with a coffee stand / bar on board. I keep meaning to investigate if any of the RIB boat companies will do drop-offs at Excel, that would save a bit of time on the journey...

A much more civilised way of getting to BETT admittedly.

Years ago we were given the loan of a stretched Hummer back when BETT was at Olympia. It smelt of cheap perfume and prosecco.

I seem to recall we asked to get dropped off around the corner so no one would see us get out of it :D
