    BETT 2023

I'm expecting tumbleweed. Their promotional video showed a sea of eager participants, my wife thinks it will look more like a prison visiting room.
  3. And guess what, the £25 we were going to be charged after 3rd March, sorry changed to after 17th March, sorry now they claim tickets will continue to be free right up until the show! Because of (I quote) "the incredible number of On-time Registrations" (??!) I did say that not one single person would end up paying for a BETT ticket and I was right
  4. My partner commutes into Waterloo and says that even the night before a strike day, the trains will be running totally normally. So on Wednesday there will be evening trains, at least until 10pm, on the major suburban routes out of London. Obvs the intercitys will be more disrupted and may finish earlier. Maybe on Friday everyone will be heading for the hills around 2pm?

    BETT 2023

I assume by non-buyer they basically mean child's ticket LOL. And at this stage I've had 10 companies want to connect (none of even the vaguest relevance), but we as punters don't get to choose who we'd like to talk to until next week. Look out for lots of email reminders about that stage too!
  6. A reminder that if the Jubilee Line is handy for you, coming from Waterloo for example, the cable car from North Greenwich is a good way to avoid multiple changes onto the DLR. All exhibitors and visitors to shows at ExCeL can use the cable car for just £3 single fare - to redeem this exclusive discount, all you need to do is show a confirmation email/ticket etc - something that indicates that you are attending an ExCeL event - to the staff at the terminals. Have a great start to your day by arriving in style with superb views across the City and Docklands.
  7. Travel tip: if you're coming on Saturday, and will be taking the train into Waterloo, note there are no trains through Wimbledon. From Woking they go on a detour through Virginia Water adding 30 mins to your journey. North of Weybridge there is a bus replacement service.
