Ladies and Gents,

while struggling to get an idea of the right MIS for our school, I have thought that it could be handy to create a small survey to get an idea about the most popular systems, currently adopted by K12 schools in the UK and within International Schools.

It's very hard and time consuming to get the correct picture of this huge world.

Feel free to suggest any addition to the form, which is available here.

As a treat, you get stats, which will be gathered and made publicly available in this spreadhseet

I'm not sure if you'll get an idea of popularity from this survey. You might be better off looking at some of the analysis produced by BringMoreData for the UK market based on census data.

You need to add Engage to the list.

I'm interested in ClasseViva - my understanding is this is a government enforced system and lacks functionality and integration. If you can do CSV import/export I'd like to learn how to do this and ideally automate it. We've got a school right now that is using it, as we're not able to get student numbers out automatically, so are looking into getting this from Google, which is manually sync'ed.

Will read about bringmoredata blog. Interesting!

I'm adding a link to the stats: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfRzyuoh02BawlaYgnM3hJpDfFUvVPO2dxgb5K3Ou2wMWi12w/viewanalytics

The form automatically updates MIS list, once a missing MIS is added through the form (right now Engage was automatically added to the list).

Classeviva is a total crap. Arcaic UI, last year they've lost our data which required a new input. I've never seen such a convoluted platform, that's why we want to switch.

We want a modern UI, flexible, fast and reliable platform. REST API mandatory since we want to exchange data with our accounting platform
