[android] Android Go - Does it support Google work profiles?

We've had some phones bought for some staff. However they have Android GO. I'm having trouble registering them against our Google 'Work' profile.

 

Is Android Go support for this feature?

 

I've had a google and can't find anything official.

 

Phone is a Moto e30 Android 11 (GO).

 

Anybody managed to register a Android Go device?

It's difficult to find anything from Google that says in simple terms that Android Go does not support Work Profiles but that is the conclusion we have come to.

 

You may notice when you try to set up a work profile, it downloads 'Google Apps Device Policy' rather than 'Android Device Policy'. 'Google Apps Device Policy' is no longer supported (https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2020/10/google-apps-device-policy-upgrade-android.html.html) so this may have worked at one time but now doesn't.

Yeah i did notice that.

 

I'm surprised we haven't had this issue sooner if i'm honest. It's a pain i can't find anything official.
