Facility ePortal

Happy New Year all!

 

So we've recently setup Facility ePortal and it's mainly there to interface with external data extraction providers, i.e. Wonde.

 

The school has signed up with Sparx (maths), that uses Wonde to extract student data. When trying to import classes on Sparx interface, it complains about missing student information on certain students, thus can't upload that class.

 

 

When looking deeper on ePortal there are indeed two students who have their details (names etc) missing, but only on ePortal NOT in Facility. This seems like a bug of some sort and has been reported to Advanced Learning. But in the mean time thought I'd askt he wider world if they've come across anything like this?

Not this specifically, but in the past unexpected characters in fields has caused problems in the past.
