Just rolling out some new HP desktop's and they are not picking up some policies. Mainly the proxy settings and the homepage. The machines are in the correct groups within active directory and should be picking up the same policies as all the other machines on the network.

 

Anyone got any ideas, would be hegely appreciated.

have you run gpupdate /force on them yet?

I had simelar problems and this hotfix seemed to resolve it:

I'd test it on a single PC first to see though.

 

If it does the job you can deploy it in the machine startup script, I can show you the script I use if you want.

Have you ran GPResult (eaiser if GPMC is installed) will tell you what is and isntapplying
