chris11256 Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Hi All, Is anyone able to recommend a Papercut Reseller? Out support expired in July and out current reseller(XMA) have basically been blanking us, not responding to emails and phone calls going unanswered. So I'd like to get a support quote from elsewhere. Don't need any actual copier licenses, that's being done through the copier lease. This is literally just the support & maintenance for Papercut. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! When we had seperate Papercut support to the copier contract we used https://www.its-group.com/en/products/detail/papercut They were always knowledgable. 1
DaveTheTech Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 I have used Apogee and DataSharp. Both a great. 1
MatthewL Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 If you are getting device licenses through the copier lease get them to provide support & maintenance for PaperCut, it gets messy very quickly and to be honest I doubt PaperCut would allow 2 companies to deal with your license.

Thats what I've been trying to do. However our account manager at XMA is almost completely unresponsive, and emails & calls to their customer services have promises of responses that never come. I've been trying to get XMA to quote since July.
MatthewL Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 If they are supplying licensing for copiers you must have support with it, what does you date day in the license section under about? You should have licensed users and devices/connectors and any other modules you have then the software updates which means you can update PaperCut. If you go to help there will be reseller information see if its a different email/phone number to what you have.
chris11256 Posted December 2, 2022 Author Posted December 2, 2022 Papercut itself says

Maintenance & Support Expired

Upgrade access until Jul 21, 2022

The email listed is an old one, XMA did a rejig of their email address. Contacting their general managed print/copier people gets referred to our account manager, who has been blanking me for the past few months.
chris11256 Posted December 2, 2022 Author Posted December 2, 2022 This forum clearly has magic powers! By some miracle this afternoon I've had my first response to an email in months! 3
