Security popups on server based links

Good morning all,

 

We currently have an issue where a user clicks on a shortcut (either on start menu or system bar), and as the link is on a server share due to redirected folders, they are prompted with a "do you trust this" kind of prompt.

 

I've already adde the domain in site 2 zone assignment, but still have the issue

 

Can anyone advise what I need to add and where in GPO to resolve this

Depending on how you linked it are you sure it is the exact link?

 

For example school.internal\program.exe isn’t the same as school\program.exe in terms of the site assignments

 

Also if it’s intranet based it should be zone 1 not 2 (unless you meant just site to zone)

 

You then also would need to check so you have the “show security warning for potentially unsafe files” set in Intranet zone (or a low/bypass config for the file type set)
