As someone has requested it, this is a Minecraft 26.1.2 vanilla server.



2 datapacks installed - fast leaf decay, and one allowing sleep without everyone needing to sleep



As always, to be whitelisted on the server, please visit your Profile on the site and add you Minecraft username to the field there.

The server updates the whitelist every 5 minutes.

 

Up to date information is always available via the Discord channel.

As someone has requested it, this is a Minecraft 1.19.2 vanilla server.

As always, to be whitelisted on the server, please visit your Profile on the site and add you Minecraft username to the field there.

The server updates the whitelist every 3 hours from 00:00 BST. It can also be updated manually if you PM me and I'm around to do it.

Are there many who use this? If so, whereabouts are you? I've logged in a couple of times (Not for a while to be fair) and couldn't find any sign of life!

I've been intermittently active (more so last autumn/winter), the deepslate castley and farm house stuff just (I think south) of spawn is mine. There's 3 or 4 other bases around and about (see the rough map below - sorry for my horrible handwriting) but I've never seen other people online at the same time as me.

@localzuk - Will it be going 1.20.1? I only ask as I run "fabulously optimized" and it takes a while to configure it. Didn't want to get it all working and then have to redo it!

Nope. I just logged in a few times, couldn't find anyone so logged off again. It's been a long time. Next time I log in I could well be in the middle of someone's base!

Defeated the dragon yesterday morning so the end is open for wings and shulkers now. I'm hoping to break the nether roof and stick a couple of portals up there for ease of access over the next day or so, unless anyone considers that cheating?

All top level enchantment books are available at -291, 45, -547. Books are in a barrel to the right. Bring your own emeralds.

The portals at -274, 50, -534 and 55, 97, -411 both go to the ether roof. Once up there, follow the torches to the east to a portal which takes you to the end portal. There is also a hole at -44, 127, -113 to go down in to the Nether.

In the end, there's an Enderman farm to the east of the main island for XP.

Looks like I've got some basics but not done much. Will try to check out the builds that everyone has done.

If you head on over to my base (I think the co-ords are on the board at spawn), I've got a chest of armour, weapons, etc. Help yourself from there if you need anything as it's all spare. If I can get on later I'll leave you some rockets, wings and shulker shells if you like?

Vanilla is basically staying as is these days - no real point in wiping! Just update to new version, and if there's new features, everyone can go out and explore new chunks to experience them.

Amazing to realise but that is first time flying with rockets and I've been playing for a very long time.

Annoyingly only after 10 minutes I've lost them as I face planted into the creeper spawner and died.

Tried to get back and pillar up in time but I found everything but the wings and rockets.

It was fun while it lasted. :-(

I have more sets. I'll drop you another over. Do you want a nether portal near your base for easier access to other places? If you make one, we'll link it with one up on the nether roof.

 

Also, the rates on the creeper farm are terrible. You get more gunpowder from the normal mob farm. I think I built it too high up. I might tear it down and build it lower.

A portal will be handy yes please, if your on before me I think to the right when you walk up the steps from the boat.

I went to the one on the shore and was trying to find some soul sand for an elevator.

I think the only reason I never spent much time is because of it.. so I went ahead and built my own world. Assuming I can't copy/paste what I built already?! Think I used that mod many years ago. Not to worry if not! When I next go back to MC I'll jump in.

I'm the kind of player that just is happy to build and continue building. Got an entire city built with a port and all sorts during the lockdowns.
