DfE approved Frameworks - Anyone used them?

We will be in the market to purchase some laptops and I was wondering if anyone has used the DfE "Buying for Schools" site where they list approved frameworks?

We normally go to 3 suppliers and ask for quotes but the frameworks provide access to over 100 suppliers so we could potentially get better pricing.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any experiences with this?

I've used Everything ICT a few times and had a good experience. I know some vendors don't like the framework as they have to pay back 7-10% of the deal.

 

Ask them for a quote and compare with a company you normally deal with and see how you feel.

 

I still like to get best value for my schools so it depends on what you're looking for and in what volume.
