Solarwinds User Import Tool issues

Just a heads up for anyone who uses the free Solarwinds User Import Tool for creating new starters.

 

For the past few weeks there's been an issue with the software crashing on start-up. As of yet there's no fix.

i always have issues with it.

I use the same method as DGardiner. But I've added some extras to it.

 

* Create home folders

* use the NTFSsecurity module to set permissions on home folders

* We don't sync Google workspace so a few GAM commands to create the user in google.

* Adds users to the usual groups, papercut, smoothwall web access etc

* Gam commands to add users to the right groups
