The IT Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day technical IT Support for the Ryde Academy. You will work alongside IT Junior Technicians and IT Technicians and where necessary third party partners/parties to support the delivery of IT to staff and students. You will be based at Ryde Academy with very occasional travel to other schools in Hampshire.

 

This is a brand new role that will see us attempt to bridge the gap between school-based IT engineering and teaching, a role that is deemed particularly critical given the opportunity to leverage and integrate the use of technology into the running of the school post pandemic.

 

This role is hands-on and in school, working alongside staff and students to support them in and around lessons and all elements of usable technology. Being the first in this role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the position. It will provide substantial growth opportunities for the right candidate.
