I was only looking at spiceworks 1) it had a locally hosted version and 2) it's free. I'm aware there's much better solutions out there, my previous place was using Plumsail which integrates into sharepoint, was really good.

 

Spiceworks cloud feels really dated to me, and the fact you have to use an external email address is a bit of a deal breaker. I've just setup Freshdesk on the free subscription and it's so much better.

Yes, good choice in Freshdesk. It was too expensive for the number of operators we have, but great product and I would be using it if not for cost. I was just saying that Spiceworks Cloud isn't the free utopia some think!
