Hi all,

Need some help please because I am scratching my head. I have around 12 Android phones that I need to be fully managed using Intune. I have setup managed google play and I type afw#setup during setup of the phones and scan a QR code in Intune. This QR code is for corporate owned fully managed devices which is what we want.

The devices seem to enroll in Intune find but then it prompts me to "register" the device. This opens the Intune app and prompts me to sign in with my credentials. Once I sign in I get "We couldn't complete sign in. Try again and then contact your organisations support if the problem continues."

I am at a loss as to what the problem could be. The device shows up in Intune as fully managed but I cannot progress through the setup beyond the registering stage.

Any help or advice would be appreciated before I throw these phones out of the window.

So I ended up trying to enroll a Windows 11 laptop in Intune and I got a much more helpful error message. Turns out there is a limit of 15 devices per user in Azure AD. I had a clear out and its now working as expected and I have fully managed phones in Intune now.

Yes, I think the limit can be changed somewhere in Azure AD, the alternative is use a DEM (Device Enrolment Manager) account which has a much higher limit (think it's 1000?)

We enroll our managed devices as kiosk devices have over 250 android tablets enrolled. Fully managed is suppose to be for end users to sign in
