coolhands Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 (edited) In sims I have some staff that belong to more than 1 user defined group (UDG). Whatever I do, I cannot get a report to show the various groups they belong to. Does anyone have a solution? It will only show the 1st group ie alphabetically above others. I understand report filters etc and have tried all combinations. Any ideas Edited July 19, 2022 by coolhands
bobsmith Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 SIMS? if you've only got a few to check you can do a subreport for each UDG (filter each subreport) Bromcom? You're stuck in the same boat as me - I had to do a seperate report to output ALL the UDG memberships (List) and then transform it to a matrix so I could vlookup it into my original staff report.
TechMonkey Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 It has been a long time since I looked at SIMS reports but I have a recollection that you could do a report and then insert a report based on the current record. Would that work? So, staff list, then report on UDG for current member of staff? Sorry very vague, but it is going back a fair few years!
coolhands Posted July 19, 2022 Author Posted July 19, 2022 yes sims. Sorry Bob but got over 60 (email) UDGs! So didn't want to do them individually!
