Good afternoon,

Is it possible to have inputted data in a BROMCOM appear across multiple marksheets?

I would like to import the CAT scores for a year group once and then have them appear in every marksheet for that year. In SIMS this was possible by entering this data into a year group master sheet and then having the associated aspect in the various class sheets.

I'm sure this must be possible in BROMCOM but I can't quite figure it out. Currently I can only get them to come through attached to the various subjects.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Mr Bungalow

This is possible.

If you create a subject (some schools also do specific terms/assessment types but choice is yours) and assign the data to that subject, you can include a column in the template that looks at that specific assessment term/year group/assessment type/subject.

This will still allow the data to pull through for any assessment sheet as as long as you are not selecting "Same as Template", and are selecting the specific subject instead for that column's mapping

Kind regards,

Ok, that makes sense but how do I create a new subject?

Pardon my ignorance but I've only been using BROMCOM for a few weeks so its all very new to me!

Thank you

No problem at all! Please DM me if you feel you need further Support.

To create a new Subject, you go to the Groups page on the left. Then you change the Group Type on the right of the page to Subject, press New and add the required details for the Subject.

Kind regards,
