KWestos Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 (edited) Just loaded sims.net (May release) on a machine and when I try and run Nova_t I get the following: SNOVA directory not found. NOVA-T6 needs to know the directory in order to run it. As usual, you cannot get into anything to alter it. Anyone got any ideas? Many thanks Edited June 26, 2008 by KWestos
Sylv3r Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Taken from SUPPORTNET SIMS Nova-T4 Valid SNOVA data not found at C:\PROGRAM FILES\SIMS. Nova-T will halt. Valid Nova data not found Installing a new workstation Advice When you carry out an installation, you need to ensure that the paths in the advanced settings on Install are correct, otherwise the above error will occur. Run simsinst.exe again, change the settings to point to the network drive and after that, you should be able to access Nova-T. Please check the C:\windows\sims.ini file, make sure that the line "Simsdirectory=S:\Sims" is pointing to your SIMS drive not your local machine. 1
