Parent Pay

This is a bit of a vent more than a request for help but we're having a problem with the Parent Pay API in Arbor in that it is showing more than one member of staff even though there are no duplicates in Arbor. Parent Pay then ask for the export csv file, I then explain we don't export any files, it is their API, they then say they will look at it, somebody else then emails to say could we send the csv file, I then explain that Parent Pay have their own API, this has now gone on for three weeks. Worst customer support I have come across in 20+ years in education.

Perhaps you have some of our staff that won't add themselves to our parent pay...

 

For the CSV export, there is an option on Arbor to generate the file. Its under School > Data > Export > ParentPay Export. I'm not sure if that includes Staff though.

 

We had fun with a French phone number on Arbor that was apparently enough to block the whole parent pay staff sync. Lets just say I'm glad we've moved from Sims and are moving from Parent Pay.

That export only has students, OP should be able to make a custom report if they need to - link to the file at the bottom of this article ParentPay and Arbor integration – Arbor Help Centre (arbor-education.com)
