forkies Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 We are having reports of the following error on CPOMS this morning for all our Safeguarding team: "The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved." This is happening when they try to edit any record, assign a member of staff, etc. CPOMS stating it must be our end, but as far as we know nothing has been modified in terms of filtering etc overnight and no block pages etc. and their site actually loads and displays, just errors when editing records. Is anyone else experiencing this issue this morning? Kind regards, Tom
Cat_Jam148 Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 CPOMS is working fine here for us - a little slow maybe but thats a regular occurrence with CPOMS

forkies Posted May 17, 2022 Author Posted May 17, 2022 Thanks, I have emailed them with the screen shot so we shall see what they come back with. Thanks!
Michael Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 To the best of my knowledge, each school has its own subdomain to access CPOMS. I've had no reports though of any issues. I presume your users are using Chrome or Edge as their browser?

I presume your users are using Chrome or Edge as their browser? Yes a sub domain and we have ours not https inspected etc, we have tried it on a mobile hotspot so not the filtering either. Although subdomained I assume they share a server and our just virtual directories, however I don't know when they last did an "update" which could have caused this issue if they did one last night and our site failed. The staff in question are using Chrome, but we are migrating to Edge. I know there were some specific browser requirements before and they recommended Chrome as the browser for their site. Still no reply from their support desk as yet!

And as you say, if you can re-create the problem outside your LAN, or even a home computer, it just adds more weight. Specific times/dates are also useful.
forkies Posted May 19, 2022 Author Posted May 19, 2022 CPOMS came back this afternoon to say they identified an issue yesterday and fixed it overnight. No communication of this until now though which is disappointing, especially when their helpdesk initially told my staff it was not their issue and definitely our end!
