jmcdermott Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 20 years in IT education sector helping others on here, and never once had to ask for help until meeting this software. We have recently absorbed a school which used this software prior to joining our multi academy and due to a recent malware attack the installed files have become encrypted with no backup. Of cause nobody on site has a copy of the original install files and we are now no longer in contract as we have moved to different software, so no help from them. We no longer use the software but do need to access the old data. Does anyone have a copy of the res32000 installed directory they would kindly donate to help a fellow techie? I don't know the version number all I can see is the filenames, but at this stage I am happy to try anything.
jmcdermott Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Still no reply from the company, seems the are not to concerned about past customers, something to bear in mind if you use there software.
Wubbalubbadub Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 The little I remember of using Corero... is the support is about as useful as a rock. Maybe they are just busy! Sorry I can't help!
Ditto Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Do you recall if there were installer downloads available were ever available on a website? It's a long shot, but I once tracked down an installer via Wayback machine. Alternatively, there are a number Corero Resource 32000 references in older edugeek threads - maybe you could try PMing some of the posters who might not otherwise see this thread. 1
2ilent8cho Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Still in need? I just remoted onto an SIMS/Admin server at 1 primary that use to run it and the Res32000 folder is still on it with a zipped 'install' file. 2
