Rob_D Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Hi, Recently (or not so recently, but no-one really noticed before now), Outlook started "checking" our SharePoint links. Which would be great, but it doesn't seem to get on with our email groups/distribution lists. If I take document shared with all staff (through our All-Staff permissions group), and email a link to (for example) our science department, it will say "the science group doesn't have access to the link" despite every member of that group having access. If I expand the group then Outlook says it's fine. This is causing a lot of confusion, and taking up a lot of technician time trying to convince staff that "despite what outlook says, everyone you want does have access to this folder". Does anyone know of a way to suppress this popup, or better yet make it work properly? Or if someone can explain why it's giving us false warnings, that would be great. Thanks!
Boredguy Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 We get that often, and have done since around June/July. Our office staff now duly ignore the warnings.
