Hi,

Recently (or not so recently, but no-one really noticed before now), Outlook started "checking" our SharePoint links. Which would be great, but it doesn't seem to get on with our email groups/distribution lists.

If I take document shared with all staff (through our All-Staff permissions group), and email a link to (for example) our science department, it will say "the science group doesn't have access to the link" despite every member of that group having access. If I expand the group then Outlook says it's fine.

This is causing a lot of confusion, and taking up a lot of technician time trying to convince staff that "despite what outlook says, everyone you want does have access to this folder".

Does anyone know of a way to suppress this popup, or better yet make it work properly?

Or if someone can explain why it's giving us false warnings, that would be great.

Thanks!
