Google Workspaces - Default date format

Is there a way within the admin side of Google Workspaces that the default date format can be changed from US to UK?

Just tried adding the date in a new sheet using a test user, and it added it correctly for UK.

 

Have a look in Admin Console, Account, Account settings, Profile. There is a section for Language. Mine is set to English (UK) (EN_GB). Might be that.

Account > Account Settings > Language and Time Zone > Language

Thanks both, this was already set yet have been told the language and date format on documents is still american.

The user might have to change it on the document itself, once it's created.
